WHO Issues Alert Over Marburg Deaths in Tanzania

The World Health Organization has confirmed the outbreak in Tanzania, less than a month after neighboring Rwanda declared an end to its months-long battle. The Tanzania outbreak reportedly killed eight people, raising concerns about a possible regional spread.

WHO has said the source of the latest outbreak is unknown and that Tanzania's Kegara region remains the epicenter.
