Corporate Council on Africa Had Much to Celebrate in 2024

Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) had a busy last quarter of the year, culmination with the White House invitation to be part of President Biden's official delegation to Angola - the last overseas trip of his presidency. "I was pleased that both Presidents' discussion focused on trade, investment, infrastructure, and stability - essentially the very same issues that Corporate Council on Africa has focused on throughout its more than30-year history and continues each day to advance," CCA President and CEO Florie Liser reports in her October-December update to members. Angola will co-host with CCA the June 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit in Luanda.

Corporate Council on Africa and AIPEX Angola jointly hosted a celebratory reception for the Lobito Corridor Summit in Luanda, Angola, featuring senior Angolan and U.S. government officials alongside private sector representatives. This event also served as the launch of the U.S.-Africa Business Summit program in Angola.
